Puffing Billy welcoming four-legged passengers on the Dog Express

In news just announced to get your pets tails wagging, Puffing Billy Railway is launching a special Dog Day Out (Dog Express), allowing pet owners to bring their four-legged family members along for a special trip through the hills.
Accommodating 2 dogs per booking, enjoy a 40-minute journey through the Wright State Forest from Emerald Lakeside to Gembrook service, over three historic trestle bridges, and past Cockatoo and Fielder station as the train climbs towards Gembrook.

The pet adventure starts at Emerald Lake Park, with plenty of walking tracks and trails for families and dogs to explore before boarding dog-friendly carriages at Lakeside Station.
 
Once arriving at Gembrook, passengers and dogs alike have ample time to play in the adjacent J.A.C Russell Park and wander through the Eastern Dandenong Ranges Trail, making it an afternoon not to be missed with your family, friends, and furry pals.
